This is one of the fast food chains that are two blocks away from the Mohegan PS. 67 and where children would go eat after school. Since, it has cheaper prices and conveniently located near a school, parents would purchase large rations of fast food to feed the family and children.

 

 This was the field site I choose to observe since, its surrounded by many local fast food chains that are easily accessible for the children.

 

 The subculture I was observing for my field site observation was elementary and middle school children and the obesity rate among this population.

This picture relates to my subculture because fast food is eaten on a daily basis among young elementary school and middle schools students which is causing children to become obese and overweight.
